About

During Spring 2020, a stressful time, emotions were high, not allowing for clarity to critically think through the untimely events that were happening around us.  At the moment, Mentally Fit 4 Life was created.  We realized then, there are four components required that need to be understood in order to be mentally fit and bring peace into our lives.  One can think of many solutions on many levels that may not be balanced, which bring unwanted long-term results.  Mentally Fit 4 Life teaches and counsels others on the 4 necessary components to a mentally fit life:

EMOTIONAL

We are all complex individuals with emotions that we often do no fully understand.  Being emotional unintelligent can be detrimental to our life. Our emotions play a major role in how we respond/react to others and it is a key component for living.  We will educate clients and inform them of our array of emotions and how to confront them and handle them appropriately.

PSYCHOSOCIAL

We define psychosocial as the influence our social environment has on us in relations to our own individual thoughts and ideas.  Being around our peers and colleagues assists us to being observant of our response to others and how others respond to us.  This plays a major role of how we deliver and receive responses, which in turn influences our mental well-being.  This is where self-esteem and self-confidence is built.

BEHAVIORAL

How we react to situations and stressors may lead to regret and ruin needed relationships.  A lot of times we behave in ways based on our emotions and not being able to fully understand what we are feeling leads to undesirable acts that can and will lead to mental illnesses.

SPIRITUAL

When we speak of spirituality we must address that this has nothing to do with religion and we do not want to confuse the two.  Spirituality is a soul connection; it is a way of life.  It is an internally pure feeling that you create, not one created for you.  It is the network that connects us with our Most High, the universe and each other.  Having a strong spiritual association mends you with the world as a being, not just a human.  This is where self-reflection and self-awareness are developed.
